Kendrick Lamar's album good kid, m.A.A.d city came out this past October, and was fire as soon as he started spitting on the mic. Upon its release it received rave reviews including 4/5 stars from Rolling Stone and a 91/100 from Metacritic. The album is Lamar exploring his adolescence and growing up in Compton and how it affected him and made him who is his today. This track is by far my favorite off the album because it is one that sends chills down my spine each time I hear it. The simple beat mixed with thought provoking lyrics makes for an unforgettable twelve minutes you won't regret. Everyone wants to be remembered, no one wants to be forgotten.
